Domain Registration Agreement

Terms for domain registration, renewal, transfer, and related domain services.

Effective date: June 19, 2026

Scope of this agreement

This agreement applies when you use DomainLot to register, renew, transfer, or manage a domain name. It applies to customers who search for, order, register, renew, transfer, hold, or manage domain names through DomainLot. DomainLot provides domain services through registrar and registry partners and is not itself a registry.

Domain names are also subject to ICANN rules, registrar requirements, registry policies, dispute-resolution policies, and TLD-specific rules. Those upstream rules may apply even when they are not repeated in this agreement.

DomainLot's role

You authorize DomainLot to act on instructions submitted through your DomainLot account for domain services, including registration, renewal, transfer, nameserver, contact, lock, unlock, auth-code, cancellation, and related registrar actions. Instructions submitted by someone using valid account credentials may be treated as authorized account instructions.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for providing accurate account, registrant, administrative, billing, and technical contact information, and for keeping that information current. You represent that your domain request is lawful, that the information you provide is complete and accurate, and that your domain registration or use does not infringe the rights of another party.

You are responsible for protecting your account credentials, payment access, domain authorization values, recovery codes, authentication devices, and account email access. You are also responsible for reviewing notices related to domains, payments, transfers, renewals, contact verification, and security.

No guarantee of registration, renewal, or transfer

Domain availability, transfer eligibility, pricing, registry requirements, and status can change. A search result, quote, transfer check, or checkout page does not guarantee that a domain can be registered, renewed, transferred, restored, or managed. DomainLot may reject or cancel a request when the registrar or registry rejects it, when required information is missing or inaccurate, when payment cannot be completed, or when the request violates applicable policy.

Fees and refunds

DomainLot shows domain registration, renewal, transfer, and add-on pricing before checkout. Payment is required before DomainLot submits paid registrar actions. Domain registrations, renewals, successful transfers, restorations, and other registrar-accepted paid domain actions are non-refundable after registrar submission, unless DomainLot, the registrar, registry, payment provider, or applicable law requires reversal.

If a paid order cannot be fulfilled before registrar submission, DomainLot may record a refund due and issue the refund through the original payment provider where possible.

Renewals and auto-renewal

You are responsible for renewing domains before expiration. DomainLot sends a renewal notice 30 days before expiration and a final notice 5 days before expiration. If auto-renewal is enabled, DomainLot attempts renewal 25 days before expiration and may charge the available payment method, subject to registrar timing, payment success, account status, and TLD rules. Auto-renewal does not guarantee renewal if payment fails, the domain is not eligible, the account is restricted, required information is missing, or registrar or registry rules prevent renewal.

Transfers

A transfer may require the domain to be unlocked at the current registrar and may require a valid transfer authorization value from the current registrar. Transfer checks are best-effort guidance. The registrar transfer submission is the authoritative transfer attempt, and an incorrect or expired authorization value can cause a transfer to fail or require a new value.

Expiration, redemption, and restoration

Expired domains may stop resolving, lose connected services, enter renewal grace periods, enter redemption, become subject to restoration fees, be deleted, or become available for registration by someone else. Exact expiration, redemption, restoration, and deletion rules depend on the TLD, registrar, registry, and current policy. DomainLot may offer restoration when available under the applicable rules, but restoration is not guaranteed after expiration. Redemption fees apply based on TLD rules, and redemption or restoration may not be available for some TLDs.

Disputes and policy requirements

Domain names may be subject to ICANN policies, registry policies, registrar policies, court orders, law-enforcement requests, and dispute-resolution processes, including the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy where applicable. See the UDRP reference for DomainLot's hosted policy reference. You agree to comply with the policies and procedures that apply to the domain name and TLD.

Suspension, cancellation, or modification

DomainLot, its registrar partners, registries, ICANN, or other authorities may suspend, cancel, transfer, lock, unlock, refuse, or modify a domain registration or service when required by policy, dispute process, law, non-payment, chargeback, fraud review, sanctions, inaccurate information, abuse reports, account compromise, or registrar or registry procedure.
