How DomainLot handles account, billing, and domain service information.

DOMAINLOT is based in the United States and provides domain registration, transfer, renewal, management, billing, and support services for customers in the United States, the European Union, the United Kingdom, and other supported locations.

Information we collect

DomainLot collects information needed to create accounts, process payments, provide domain services, send notices, and support customers. This may include account credentials, contact details, billing records, domain contact information, domain service settings, support messages, IP addresses, browser metadata, and operational logs.

Domain service information may include registrant, administrative, technical, and billing contacts; nameservers; domain lock status; renewal settings; transfer authorization workflow details; and registrar request and response records that are sanitized before storage.

How we use information

We use information to operate the site, process registrations, renewals, transfers, payments, refunds, notifications, support requests, security controls, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and registrar or registry obligations.

We may send transactional messages about account access, security, orders, payments, refunds, renewals, transfers, domain management, policy requirements, and support activity. We may also send marketing messages to customers where permitted; marketing messages can be opted out of without stopping required service, security, billing, or domain notices.

Registrar, registry, and payment partners

Domain services require sharing domain contact and order information with registrar and registry partners. Payments are processed by payment providers such as Stripe. DomainLot does not store raw card numbers.

Domain contact data may be processed for WHOIS, RDAP, escrow, compliance, registry, registrar, dispute, transfer, and verification requirements. Some domain information may be published or made available through public or gated lookup systems depending on the TLD, registrar, registry, and applicable policy.

Cookies and sessions

DomainLot uses cookies and session storage for sign-in, checkout, security, preferences, and normal site operation. Browser or device settings may limit some functionality.

DomainLot uses Cloudflare for traffic protection and delivery, and uses Google Analytics to understand site usage and improve the service. These providers may process IP address, browser, device, and usage information according to their own service terms and privacy practices.

International processing

DomainLot is operated from the United States. Registrar, registry, payment, infrastructure, analytics, and support processing may occur in the United States or other countries. When customers use DomainLot from the EU, UK, or another location, their information may be transferred to and processed outside that location as needed to provide the service.

Retention

DomainLot keeps information as long as needed to provide domain, account, billing, security, support, registrar, registry, tax, accounting, audit, legal, and dispute-resolution services. Some records must be kept after an account, order, or domain is inactive because domain and payment records may be needed for customer support, compliance, reconciliation, chargebacks, refunds, abuse review, or legal claims.

Your choices and rights

Customers can update many account and domain contact details in their account. Customers may ask to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete personal information where those rights apply. Some requests may be limited when DomainLot must keep information for active domain services, registrar or registry requirements, billing records, security logs, fraud prevention, disputes, or legal obligations.

Security

DomainLot uses technical and operational safeguards to protect account and service data. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, so customers should protect passwords, authentication devices, recovery codes, domain authorization values, and account email access.

Updates and contact

If account or contact information is incorrect, update it in your account or contact support. Privacy and operational practices may change as DomainLot adds services or as registrar, registry, payment, analytics, security, or legal requirements change.

For privacy questions, use the contact page and reference service@domainlot.com in your message. DomainLot may update this page from time to time.
